Oatmeal cookie

Make your own homemade cookie. I don’t say that it is the healthier cookie but if you change the sugar to a healthier one than it’s better. And you can try different flours too 🙂

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, at room temperature

  • 1/2 cup dark brown sugar

  • 2 large eggs

  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • 3 cups old-fashioned rolled oats (not for quick cooking)

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Mix the sugar with the butter until they became creamy. Add the eggs and all the remaining ingredients one after the other. Mix everything very well. Form tablespoon amounts onto the pan covered by baking paper, don’t forget to keep 2cm spacing as they became bigger while baking. Then bake within 10 minutes. One done, let them cool completely being on a rack.
