Ingredients

  • 500 g minced meat

  • one onion, chopped

  • 2-3 slice of bacon, chopped

  • 1 pc carrot, chopped

  • 2 celery, chopped

  • 500 ml tomato puree

  • salt, pepper

  • one branch fresh basil

  • 250 g lasagna pasta

  • 400 ml cream cheese

Directions

  • Firstly cook the ragout. Heat some oil and sear the diced bacon for 5 minutes. Then add the onion, sear further 2-3 minutes and add the carrot and celery as well. When the vegetables browned a little bit and become soft add the minced meat. After a couple of minutes, season with salt and pepper, pour the tomato puree and finally add the chopped branch of the basil without the leaves. Cook the ragout for 45 minutes on moderate heat. Refill the seamed liquid as needed.
  • Boil half liter water. Put the lasagna pasta in the boiled water with some drops of oil, so the pasta gets soft entirely during baking. Take a baking sheet and place a layer of pasta into with the third of ragout and one layer cream cheese on it. Season with salt and pepper. Repeat the layering sequence twice. Put some basil leaves between the layers. Spread the remaining liquid of the ragout across the top or use tomato puree, furthermore you can slice fresh tomato onto as well and finally sprinkle with cheese. Cover the baking sheet with foil and bake for 20 minutes in preheated oven, 190°C. Then remove the foil and bake further 10-15 minutes.
