Chili bean soup

Spicy, chilli bean soup. It doesn’t as traditional in taste, but that is why you need to try it. And of course because it is tasty too.

Ingredients:

  • one piece mid size onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 can red bean, min. 240 g
  • a pinch of salt
  • 4 slice os ham, Parma
  • 1 tsp grounded chili
  • 1 tsp grounded cumin
  • 1/2 tsp grounded coriander
  • 1/2 tsp grounded cinnamon
  • 40 g tomato puree
  • 1 l chicken stock
  • for the serving I suggest sour-cream and spring onions.

Lay the ham on a baking paper covered sheet and bake in preheated oven, 200°C, for 5-6 minutes.

Braise the onion on some oil and add the crushed garlic in half time too. Then add the tomato puree, stir and fry for a minute. Season it and pour on the stock. Meanwhile wash the bean in running water, add to the soup and cook 5 more minutes. Serve with seared ham, sour-cream and spring onion.
